This is a Naturist health spa , which has couples only times & a couples only area.

Rob 20 May 2011 01:49:36 PM Went to Rio's for the first time last night. Firstly it is clothing optional not naturist. The venue was clean and tidy. As a single male visitor I was horrified to see the constant harassment of couples by other single males. Listening at doors to the private rooms etc. Some displays of public affection in the tub were cool but seemed that whenever a couplenor female moved at least 5 men followed. Overall a nice venue but no wonder single Men get bad press Samantha 10 Aug 2009 08:01:42 PM We had not been to Rio's for a couple of years due to my Husbands work commitments. However, we went there twice in the past month and have to say that, since it's been refurbished it now looks fabulous. An added bonus is the fact that they have added security staff which keeps control over unwanted attention. We will definitely be going back again and next time will try a Sunday as I've heard the atmosphere is good and plus I can get my all over tan in the gardens at the back. Their were only 2 other couples and the rest were all single men. The single men tried to please me in the jacuzzi it was fun. Then we went into the private room downstairs and had fun twice. The upstairs were closed for refurb. Anyway we had fun and would be going back soon. Ivory & Ebony 13 May 2008 09:22:17 AM We visited this spa on a couples only night - well couples only until 12am and found the place to be really relaxing, nice and friendly with a good atmosphere. It has recently been done up so we're told and seemed very clean and bright. The staff could not do enough for you and were also very friendly and went out of their way to be of any assistance. Although the place is a naturist spa, you do not have to go naked if you do not want to, ladies and gents are more than welcome to wear swimming costumes or trunks, or just a towel. Now lets talk about the single males.......... Because we went on couples only night, there were only couples obviously allowed in, but this was until 12am only as after this time single men were permitted to come in because the spa is open basically 24 hrs. After 12am, i could certainly see why other reviewer's commented on them as there were lots of single men and yes the majority of them were very rude and expected value for money so to speak. We were in the downstairs play rooms, and honestly did not get left alone - even in the lockable rooms as the single men waited outside and kept knocking and putting their feet & heads in the way of the closing door. However we did find out that there was a couples only play room upstairs until 3am in which security stopped single guys from entering - which was a bonus. Our advice would be to go on a couples only evening / night and leave before 12am if single men are not your thing - otherwise you will not be short of offers and will be followed around like sheep lol. All in all a good night though and would return for another couples night! kitty & doggy 08 Jan 2008 07:59:41 PM we lived in the area for 6months and went 2 or 3 times a week if you got to know people properly and went on the cuples only night then it was brilliant we made many friends down there. there were a few problems the first time we went with single guys hounding us but if you reported there behavior they were removed or band permantly. if you stick to the rules then it was good the staf are brilliant and make it a plesant fun place to . we really miss going now we are bk home thanks to all the staf and mebers we miss you lot and we will be bk soon i hope
